The plot of the game continues to develop events that take place with the main character - Wesley Gibson. The Brotherhood is disbanded, the Machine of Destiny is broken, it's all over. However, the hero does not sleep - every night he sees a repeating dream: his mother puts him down and sings a song.

Suddenly a killer appears and at the moment of the shot Wesley wakes up. But this time something is wrong. Real robbers break into the hero’s house and take away a portrait of his mother. The chase ends sadly.
At the heart of the gameplay is the story of the protagonist. Several times the player will have to be in the body of Cross - the father of the main character, whom he personally took his life. Thus, the sources of everything that is happening in the game at the present time are known. The extermination of the Brotherhood yielded nothing - the killers remained, and they again tried to fix the Machine of Fate.
The developers managed to realize the main feature of the film - bullets flying along a curved path. Therefore, Wesley uses nothing but a pistol. An excellent shelter system has been developed. In an open battle it is difficult to remain without damage. The hero also has the ability to move lightning fast with a sufficient level of adrenaline. Enemies will not even notice him.
