Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within review

The hero decides to find the Island of Time, where the Empress of Time lives. He hopes to persuade her not to create Sand, thereby changing her past and her destiny.

The most prominent change in the project is the style change. If earlier the story resembled an oriental fairy tale, bright and magical, now it is a dark and cruel journey.

The main focus, as before, is aimed at overcoming confusing locations filled with clever mechanisms and deadly traps, and battles. The character deftly climbs and runs along the walls, jumps over precipices and walks along narrow beams, not forgetting to fight off enemies along the way.

There are a lot of riddles and puzzles. Some of them are tied to interaction with time. When a fatal mistake is made, sand is used, the supply of which is limited. It allows you to rewind events a little back, thus giving a second chance. A special medallion is responsible for such tricks. As he progresses, he will receive new abilities and allow to slow down time, speeding up his own movements, scatter enemies with a blast wave, and so on. Opponents have become more diverse and the closer to the end, the stronger and more dangerous they become.

The arsenal has also expanded with different types of blades and additional daggers in the left hand. Each sample has its own combinations of techniques.
