The video game Alan Wake's American Nightmare was released on February 22, 2012 due to the joint efforts of the developer company from Finland — Remedy Entertainment and the company-publisher from the USA — Microsoft Game Studios. The game cannot be called a sequel to the first part of Alan Wake, released in 2010, although some details used in American Nightmares were planned for the second part. Like the previous game of the series, it is a mixture of horror and action from the third person.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare review

The developers wisely did not change combat system of the game Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Free Download. It was already magnificent. The player will still travel through the locations, fighting off the hordes of creatures of darkness. Before you destroy the enemy, it must be illuminated by means of a flashlight, or a light bomb. Only when the dark matter dissipates, only then it will be possible to kill the adversary.
The main character Alan Wake remains in the Dark Abode. He is in the town of Night Springs. At the beginning of his writing career, Alan wrote a story to one of the episodes of the eponymous series. The host of the episode dubbed him “The Soldier of the World”. To get out of the fictional town, Wake will have to rewrite reality and get rid of his dark essence — Mr. Scratch, who wants to capture the author's subconscious. Screenshots
