Elven Legacy

Elven Legacy is a tactical turn-based strategy developed by 1C: Ino-Co and published by Paradox Interactive in April 2009. It is a continuation of Fantasy Wars. The game presents a time when there were five races: elves, orcs, humans, undead and gnomes. They are in conflict over the ownership of the territory from where humanity once banished the orcs.

Elven Legacy review

After a hundred years, they are preparing for war in order to return their homeland. At the same time, other races declare war on humans in order to seize their land. The player can choose either elves or orcs. The gameplay is a turn-based strategy game. The player moves the units along hexagonal cards that determine where they go and when they attack. Each of the units represents one hero or a small company of soldiers.
After all units have exhausted their movement points and their action (single) per turn, enemies controlled by a PC or other users begin their movements and actions. Usually, a mission requires a certain list of goals (to kill certain enemies or reach a certain city on the map) with “prizes” awarded at the end of the mission, depending on how many moves a player needs to achieve them.
