Bionic Commando

The Bionic Commando series of games has gone an unusual way from arcade machines to personal gaming platforms. In the sequel, the main character was Nathan Spencer, who works as a government agent in a city called Ascension. Super Joe or Joseph Gibson is an operative in the security committee responsible for training modified bionic agents.

Bionic Commando review

Spencer betrays his own government, then imprisoned. The execution of the criminal traitor is about to take place, but in the Ascension, a terrible earthquake occurs, caused by the explosion of a nuclear experimental weapon by the Bio-Reich terrorist group. The government is reinstating Spencer in his former position to eliminate the radicals.
In the gameplay, several mechanics are used, for example, a radioactive factor acting as a barrier. Developers, therefore, keep the player, because the game has a predominantly linear design.
Using Spencer's futuristic tool, a bionic arm, he can strike at the enemy in limbo or when climbing the wreckage of buildings. This is especially useful in hand-to-hand combat when the enemy is at close range. Additional functions of the hand - capture and launch of objects, it can be a car and boulders.
