The game has four single player campaigns that span from 1600 to 1750. During each campaign, the player will play for the East India Company of one of the eight West European countries, each of which has historically created such companies. However, there is no real difference between the fractions, except for the geographical location of their ports.
Each campaign uses the same strategic map, which covers Europe, Africa and India. The player will build ships and organize them in the fleet, buy and sell merchandise for profit, conquer ports with the help of marines and negotiate with foreign companies.
Missions include the destruction of the pirate fleet, the delivery of custom-made goods or the modernization of port infrastructure. Tired of manual trade management, the user can configure automatic trading routes. In multiplayer, you can arrange sea battles. Screenshots
