The storyline is built around the fantastic kingdom of Ferelden, who is threatened by a possible attack of all kinds of demons and evil spirits. The main character, in order to save his homeland, decides to join the Order of the Gray Guards, collects a group of like-minded people and tries to smooth out the differences between the warring factions, thereby preventing a civil war. Throughout the game, the player will be able to explore the voluminous world of Dragon Age and fight enemies, completing the proposed missions. The development of the game lasted for 6 years, but even this factor could not stop getting Dragon Age: Origins a huge portion of awards from a variety of publications, as well as praise from critics. The main achievement of the game was the recognition of the best in 2009. Subsequently, the additions of Awakening, II and Inquisition were released.
