Game process

The main character of the game is the Spirit of Ori. He has to explore the world and solve various puzzles. The new part lacks a system of "spiritual connection", which allowed players to save anywhere. Instead, an automatic save system at checkpoints was added (an icon appears in the lower left corner).

The mechanics of the battle have been changed: a huge number of weapons, spells, skills and abilities have been added, which help the player to fight with hostile creatures and go to new locations. In most cases, the player will not be able to advance to the next area until they find the required ability.
Allies were also added, who can provide their services to the character, and give him a task. A new mode "Test of the Spirit" has been added, where you can compete with other players in passing levels. Unlike the previous part, the locations have become more memorable and brighter.

Plot

At the end of the last part, Ori's Spirit is lost in the forest during a storm, and the Spirit Tree emits light to find the hero, but all of Kuro's newborn chicks died because of this light. In an attempt to keep the last cub alive, Kuro brings darkness to the Nibel Forest.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps begins with the upbringing of Kuro's only daughter, Ku. She cannot fly due to health problems. The heroes heal her, and Ku sets out with Ori on a journey. In flight, a storm overtakes them. Ku disappears and Ori must find her and save her, solving various puzzles along the way. Screenshots
