Psychocat: The Door review

Each location is a riot of paints and madness. Minimalism and low-poly charts give a vague assumption that the main character of the game is a knife is a cat.

In this case, such a style is justified by high dynamics and total psychedelia of what is happening. Most of the tunnels are decorated in the spirit of optical illusions or simply made in the form of a rainbow, the outer space leading to the black hole and so on.

On the path of the cat, obstacles meet, partially overlapping passage. Also there are rings changing management. At the beginning, such changes simply change the button to the right and left, up-down, but already subsequent levels can simply mix them, forcing the player again and replay again. When it seems that it has already been mastered with new conditions, as they immediately change: the movement is significantly accelerated, the background is changing, from which it starts to rich in the eyes, or appear the obstacles of the new form.

Between the levels are a kind of "recreation area". This is a mini-room, where everything needs to be achieved, but without any difficulties. For example, a player can detect himself in the skins of a cat standing in front of a bowl in the kitchen, or in a flat space there will be many circles with strange inscriptions, among which there will be "The Cat" and "The Door". It is definitively unclear why the developers inserted these places, however, they are not bad to relax their eyes before the next enchanting race.

Psychocat Music: The Door, borrowed from Robert Austin and Kevin, perfectly falls on the overall dynamics and surrealism of the project. Screenshots
