Alone in the Dark is a restart of the cult series, developed by the tandem of Eden and Hydravision. Atari released the release on June 20, 2008. The plot captures from the first seconds. Edward Carnby comes to his senses when a gun is already placed on his head. But the hero manages to escape from the killers and realize that he does not even remember his name.

Having witnessed inexplicable things, Edward, being a detective and a specialist in paranormal phenomena, decides to figure out what is the matter. The story is divided into 8 parts and served as a series. Each episode has its own review and preview.
The gameplay surprises with innovative mechanics for the genre. The protagonist's inventory system is represented by his own pockets. They are limited in capacity and are divided into three compartments: a holster for weapons and a flashlight, left and right sides for objects of a certain type.
Alone in the Dark has an interesting crafting system. Of the usual materials at hand it is allowed to create various weapons and supplies. The interactive environment around the player contains a lot of objects with which you can interact. The puzzles in the game are varied and have non-standard solutions. The answer is often based on the real laws of physics. Screenshots
