Brothers in Arms implements a command system for several units, which consist of 4 people. They are divided into classes, and each fulfills its role in the battle: an offensive detachment, a machine-gun and machine-gun detachment for firing barrage, a grenade launcher unit for the destruction of enemy equipment and shelters.
The developers have added a system of destructible shelters. When the main character is hiding, the camera changes its perspective view from the third person, which improves the circular view. In some missions, the player will be given control of the British tank Sherman Firefly. You are allowed to carry three types of weapons with you, one of which is the main gun of the protagonist.
The plot is based on the real operation "Market Garden" and originates on September 14, 1944. The protagonist is Sergeant 101 Matt Baker, an airborne division. Characters subordinate to the player are also well-developed: each has his own habits and character. The action takes place in occupied Holland.
