A Way Out review

As with Brothers, the story of the game and therefore the gameplay revolves around two characters - Vincent and Leo. Unlike the previous game, these heroes are controlled by two players. This will require the help of a partner, both playing on the same computer and over the network.

A Way Out is a third-person stealth game that can take three nights to complete. It all depends on whether you decide to try out everything the game has to offer. At certain points, the game offers two solutions that are significantly different. There are several possible endings in it. The plot is one of the main features, so you shouldn't reveal any details unnecessarily. The story revolves around a prison break and a path to revenge.

The cooperation of the two players here takes many interesting forms. Together with your partner, you will move heavy objects, open rusty doors or plant each other on a hill, like in Uncharted 4. However, these simple actions, which you can perform at the push of a button, are complemented by moments when you need to have time to react at a certain time.

The developers have coped with the artistic component no less skillfully. As needed, situations that unfold in parallel from different perspectives are combined so that the game looks like a full-fledged adventure in cinematic style. This happens completely naturally, without sacrificing gameplay.

The difficulty of A Way Out lies not in the game mechanics, but in the communication and collaboration between the two players. The ways of cooperation are very different and constantly leave in amazement and tension, like the plot. Screenshots
