Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Campaign Remastered 2020 review
The players had the opportunity to go through the storyline once again, which was recreated using modern technology. Now graphics are not inferior to modern video games, there is support for 4K, and widescreen monitors reproduce the best quality image with an unlimited frame rate. The sound quality has also improved significantly.
The gameplay has remained the same, corresponding to the entire line of games. Modern Warfare 2 is a first person shooter set in different countries: the USA, the Caucasus, Brazil, Kazakhstan and Afghanistan. The plot develops strictly according to the script, the passage is linear, which does not allow completing tasks in a different order or freely exploring the territory. All destructible objects are predetermined, the rest cannot be destroyed even with the most powerful weapons. Of the innovations, it is worth noting the only non-linear element that first appeared in the series: the character can now fire simultaneously from two pistols.
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Campaign Remastered 2020, players will become a member of the NATO anti-terrorist squad led by General Shepard. The passage begins in Afghanistan, where Shepard recruits the protagonist of the mission - Allen, because of his shooting skills and experience in liberating the village from the militants.
After checking the recruit, the general injects him into an ultranationalist organization run by the chief terrorist, Vladimir Makarov. Further, the user is given various tasks aimed at countering the riots. Each new country will have missions with different squad members as the main character.
