The main character is an alien amorphous red monster with many tentacles. He looks like the creature from the movie. The alien enters the military laboratory and tries to escape from there, crawling through the ventilation shafts, overcoming obstacles and closed doors. On the way he meets soldiers and other people, whom he begins to absorb. Human flesh and blood allows the monster to grow larger and gain new skills.

The creature, building up biomass, can destroy doors and easily deal with gratings, as well as rip apart its enemies in one move. At locations, the character finds fragments of his genetic code, which scientists have taken to contain it, and for study. After collecting all the parts, the monster will return all its abilities.

The alien in Carrion has the ability to capture the bodies of people, but there are devices at the military base that evoke memories, they reveal the origin of the person. Initially, he was found by three scientists, he killed two, and captured the third. At this time, the security service arrived and drove out the monster, killing the scientist.

Having passed all the levels and floors, having collected all the pieces of genetic fragments, the alien creature has to return to the beginning, to the room where it was held. There he finds the last piece of the code stolen by scientists. After absorbing all the parts, he becomes very strong, and he manages to recreate the human form in the form of the first captured scientist.
