Halloween Stories 4: Defying Death review

On the eve of the holiday, Ted called Roy and asked him to come to the store where he works to try on a very cool and creepy costume. On the way to the store, Roy thought that something was wrong: the wind was getting stronger, and in the dark corners dark shadows seemed to whisper about his fate. However, Roy chalked it up to holiday fantasies.

When Roy came to the store, he saw Ted, terrified to death, but he quickly calmed down, realizing that he was not alone now. Roy tried on a suit, and Ted's phone rang. He said it was urgent and went into another room to answer. After some time, strange sounds began to be heard from there.

When Roy decided to check what was happening there, he saw his friend lying dead on the floor, with a huge, blazing fire hole in his chest, and next to him the dark silhouette of death itself. On the floor was Ted's phone, with the words "You're next" glowing on the screen. Looking around, Roy saw a mirror, and looking into it, he remembered the terrible accident that happened to his friends earlier, in which only they survived.

Roy tried to escape death, but failed. Now Roy, in the guise of an ethereal spirit, has to solve the riddle of his own death, and at the same time get out of the clutches of the dark reaper and save his friend.

Halloween Stories 4: Defying Death is a rather gloomy game, but it doesn't scare away with its dark atmosphere. There are four difficulty levels to choose from, one of which is fully customizable.

Of the innovations, the game boasts an interactive map that will help you navigate the locations and new collectibles. The mini-games remained the same, familiar from the previous parts of the series, but the scenes for the search for hidden objects have become much smaller. Screenshots
