Saints Row: The Third - Remastered review

From a street gang, they have grown into a strong brand, popular and sold on every corner. Meanwhile, a new force is entering the city's criminal map - the international organization "Syndicate". They defeat the Saints in the battle in which Johnny Gath died.

The team has to move to Steelport, and establish their system there. The finale offers two opposite endings. Officially good is considered correct. In a bad one, many team members die, and the gang's reputation is greatly reduced.

The gameplay remains unchanged. It's the same hurricane action movie in the open world with crazy humor, absurd scenes and various missions. The heroes still wreak havoc on the streets and not only, in the final they will even go to Mars.

The remaster has made significant changes to the game's appearance. Almost all objects in the game have been reworked. The character models have been redrawn, which has changed the appearance of some of them a lot.

Reworked textures of the environment and equipment, improved weather effects. Bullet and shrapnel marks on walls and other surfaces have become more realistic and voluminous. The lighting model has undergone a high-quality revision: changing the time of day transforms locations and makes the city more lively and voluminous.

Explosions of steel are an order of magnitude more effective, which is very important for the series, since you have to detonate throughout the entire passage. The developers, as promised, did not make any changes to the soundtrack and voice acting.

No new content has been added to Saints Row: The Third - Remastered. The edition includes all major and minor additions ever released for the game. There are dozens of free costumes available right from the start. Screenshots
