Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition review

The world suffered a catastrophe - the sun sank into the sea, plunging everything into darkness. People began to lose their minds. For a while, they were saved by colossus - giants that illuminate the surrounding space, but over time, for various reasons, they began to disappear. Couriers follow in their footsteps to return. It is for them that you have to play.

There are only four heroes. The path begins in the role of a knight named Terrence and his companion Violla. They are later joined by Norwood and the nun Benita. Each of them has not only a personal skill tree and equipment, but also a personal story and quests. Relationships are constantly developing in the detachment, someone is friends, and someone does not trust. Relationships change over time.

Heroes in Pascal's Wager: Definitive Edition travel the world in a wagon. It serves as a kind of hub where you can change clothes, talk with companions and make further plans.

The combat system still consists of strikes, blocks and dodges that consume stamina. Enemies hit painfully, die reluctantly. Defeated opponents drop bones (analogous to souls), which are used for pumping, trade and improvements.

After death, part of the savings is lost forever. Only two characters can go to the location, it is allowed to switch between them freely. Each of them represents a separate class with its own strengths and weaknesses.

Each region has a boss, sometimes two. During battles, the warriors gradually lose their minds. If you bring this indicator to a critical level, then the world will go into an "abnormal" state and begin to inflict damage. Screenshots
