Monkey Barrels review

After the kidnapping of one of the friends, the brave monkeys go into battle against the steel creations of the villain.

Monkey Barrels is an old school 2D hurricane action. There are two heroes to choose from, differing only in gender and appearance. Each level is a linear location filled with enemies and destructible objects. At the end of each mission, a boss awaits, executed according to the classic scheme - a core surrounded by cannons.

The character carries with him two main and two auxiliary weapons. The arsenal is huge, but no one forbids you to go through the whole game, carrying with you a couple of your favorite guns. The purchase and change of weapons is carried out in a special menu between missions, where you can also try out a new product.

The currency is trash that falls from defeated enemies, broken boxes, or just lying on the ground. Each instance differs in the amount of damage dealt, the magazine capacity and the principle of operation. One shoots slowly, but painfully, the second hits with a continuous laser beam, the third generally releases charges in a fan.

For a change, some stages are passed on a tank, ATV, or simply players will be allowed to shoot from a stationary turret. In total, the storyline campaign consists of 22 stages. On top of that, there is a competitive online mode.

Battles in Monkey Barrels are dynamic, juicy and colorful. There are many enemies and all with their own unique design and attack options. Nice pixel graphics create a fun atmosphere, and dynamic music background immerses you in the dynamics of a firefight. Screenshots
