Windward Free Download is a fairly simple game. The developers did not pile up the game with a confusing interface and a lot of menus. We control one ship using the WASD keys and choose the direction of shooting by the mouse. Everything is simple and exciting. Moving on a randomly generated map, a gamer in the ports receives missions. Missions are divided into several types: delivery of cargo, hunting for pirates, foundation the city.
In the process of sea battles, the hero does not just exchange shots with the enemy, but also applies special shots that can tear sails or set the ship on fire. In battles the ship gets experience and you get money. All you earn can be spent for improving the ship or hiring additional ships. For the gained experience points in battles, you are given the opportunity to develop the skills of defending, attacking or supporting the ship.
