According to the plot, a detachment of people is sent to the development of new lands, the player controls everyone. The group arrives at the new location in a boat that has been pre-loaded with resources and items needed to survive. At the beginning, the player will have a small supply of food, clothing, basic tools and some building materials at their disposal. All this will help people build a small village and lead it to prosperity.

The gameplay is very detailed and thoughtful. Since Life of Feudal: Forest Village assumes the development of a settlement from scratch, you will have to start with farming. You need to find a place for fields and orchards with fruit trees. Each crop has its own individual needs for moisture, care, and ripening time. For animals, it is necessary to organize pastures, and place defenders there from wild animals.

Residents of the city can be exposed to various diseases, usually this happens in a cold season. To avoid this, it is required to warmly dress the wards and feed them with quality food.

The seasons and weather change along with the needs of the settlement: in the summer, you need to thoroughly water the fields, in the winter, use firewood and warm clothes, and so on.
