The main character confronts a local brutal dictator who dwells on the top of his tower. To win, he will have to rise from the bottom, overcoming the armies of the tyrant.

Game process

The main highlight of the game is running. The player quickly moves along horizontal and vertical surfaces, simultaneously shredding the meeting enemies with a katana. The game requires focus and instant reaction. Moving at high speed, it is necessary to mark in time, often even by ear, the location and type of the enemy, while not forgetting to follow the road. The path runs not only along the floor, but also along the walls, ceiling and even air. It is vitally important to assess the terrain correctly, as one wrong move will send the hero to the loading screen.

The only weapon in Ghostrunner is the katana. There are also various abilities - fighting techniques and parkour. Most enemies are killed by one hit, which has a positive effect on the dynamics. But the cyber body of the protagonist also falls with one hit. So the process is more like a spatial puzzle, in which you have to find the ideal route over and over again to solve the problem. In addition, opponents are represented in a wide variety. Each requires a special approach: someone must be brought down from behind, another with a jump from above, the third must be hit, having beaten off his own bullet.

Dilute the process of travel inside the code, which is a puzzle platformer in virtual reality. You will also often have to think about solving riddles for hacking various devices.

All this extravaganza takes place under a dynamic soundtrack. The composer managed to collect an accompaniment equally suitable for both combat and dizzying somersaults over the abyss. Screenshots
