Desperados III review

The plot is based on a confrontation with a gangster group, which is hiding behind the railway business. The characters of the characters are conveyed colorfully and well revealed. Each of them has unique abilities, which opens up space and variability of the passage.

All action is to be observed in isometric view. Despite this, the environment and characters are detailed and well-animated, which makes the scenes look stylish and cinematic.

The gameplay took all the best from the Commandos series and moved the action to the Wild West. The mechanics are full of nuances and small details that are not always noticeable at first glance. Each fighter has a unique set of skills. Even performing the same action, each of them does it differently. For example, one can quietly stun an opponent and discreetly tie and carry away the body. The other will carry the burden to its full height, risking to be discovered. And there are a lot of such moments. In addition, the game does not in any way pretend to be historical and realistic, so it easily allows the use of mystical skills.

Each location in Desperados 3 is a huge and detailed area with tons of interactive objects and options for passing. There is almost always a choice between quiet and stealthy advancement and a bold strike with the shooting of everything that moves.
