The world of the game is filled with characters familiar from mythology. Some of them will become an enemy, others will be happy to talk and give valuable advice, and even help. To carry out his plans, Zagreus does not refuse the help of the gods. The gift of each of them is unique and has its own advantages. For example, Dionysus will poison the blade, Athena will give the ability to reflect the attacks of opponents, and Zeus will give blows with electric discharges. Since there are many deities, and their favors are infrequent, each passage is not like the previous one.

Locations are varied and filled with their own inhabitants. All rooms are randomly generated, as are the rewards given for clearing them. The finds are varied, some doors lead to a power grenade, which improves existing gifts, and sometimes it becomes possible to improve or modify your weapon, this also affects behavior in battle. There are six types of arsenal in total. Each is unique in its own way and allows you to develop certain tactics. Enemies are also forced to change the methods of fighting.
