Gods Will Fall: Valiant Edition review

The story is based on Celtic mythology. Since time immemorial, cruel gods have kept people in their power, and insubordination is punishable by a heavy, slow death. The proud tribe grew tired of this burden, and a detachment of warriors rose up against their oppressors.

All the action takes place on the island. A group of eight fighters runs along it. The task is to search for divine domains, and kill its inhabitants and owner. The whole team cannot go inside, you need to choose one of them. The choice is very important, since each soldier differs not only in appearance, but also in equipment, vitality, damage dealt and special abilities.

In dungeons, you can find a lot of useful things: weapons, upgrades, supplies, or you can learn a new skill. However, having entered inside, it is impossible to return in the same way - only after passing all the obstacles. After the victory, the items are divided between the members of the squad, everyone is happy, and the team goes to the next lair.

If the hero dies, he disappears forever, and the enemies who defeated him will become noticeably stronger. The losses are especially painful, because each character has his own personal story, and the player manages to become attached to them during the journey.

The tyrants' shelters are available in any order, but it is impossible to know in advance how serious the opponents will be.

The combat system in Gods Will Fall: Valiant Edition is pretty simple and familiar. There are fast and slow hits, the ability to block attacks, evasion. In the heat of battle, bloodlust accumulates - the local analogue of rage. When activated, it allows you to inflict more serious injuries. Screenshots
