The Outer Worlds is an RPG game developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The project took a lot from the popular and best part of Fallout - New Vegas, published by Bethesda Softworks. The developers decided to make their project not as a continuation of the line of games, but as a new game with a similar atmosphere and gameplay. The publishing house was taken over by the Private Division studio, and the project itself was released in 2019.

The Outer Worlds review

In terms of the gameplay, the game with a new story and improved graphics reminds everyone of a familiar project, where there was an advanced role-playing system, a change in the attitude of the heroes to the protagonist depending on his actions, and a lot of dialogues that can help in progressing through the plot. Users are provided with an open world where you can both fight enemies and explore locations and complete quests that can pump the main character for easier passage.

The Outer Worlds is set in the past. In 1901, there was an increased growth of monopolies and trusts, due to which many companies soon became very influential. Because of this, the government of the Earth civilization sold such corporations the rights to explore new territories of the universe. So worlds began to appear, one of which is Alcyone, where players will have to spend the entire storyline.

The protagonist of The Outer Worlds is one of the passengers of the ship sent to this world. He stayed in cryosleep for 70 years, while the world was already ready to receive people. After undergoing rehabilitation and experiencing some adventures, the hero finds himself drawn into a huge conspiracy between bandits and corporations. Now players need to master new territory, complete tasks and move along the storyline in order to find out at the end all the details that interest them so much. Screenshots
