Tamarin review
Tamarin is a 3D platformer with a cute main character. Fluffy tamarin explores locations, overcomes obstacles and resists evil insectoids. An unexpected discovery during the passage will be the presentation of the shooter mechanics.
At the very beginning of the journey, the player meets a hedgehog who gives him a laser ultrasound. He also reports that beetles are building plants around and contaminating everything around. The same character will later become a merchant from whom you can buy better weapons. The shootings themselves are pretty straightforward. There is no cover system, but the monkey is quite fast and can easily dodge charges flying at it.
Locations in the game are colorful and varied. You will also have a chance to walk through a burning village, through flowering forests and meadows, as well as gloomy factories. To go to a new level, you need to collect a certain number of fireflies. They wander in different nooks and crannies, so you need to carefully explore the area. Also, the villains have captured or attacked cute blue birds, which must be saved from brutal death. Each section ends with the discovery of one of the missing family members.
The animal is able to deftly jump and somersault. There is a targeted jump ability that allows you to climb especially high and distant ledges. As he progresses, he will receive new ways of movement, such as a bubble for crossing reservoirs.
Tamarin's style is similar to a funny children's cartoon. The scenes of the rescue are so touchingly furnished that one feels sorry for the poor animals sitting behind bars or being fired at from machine guns.
