Strange Investigations: Becoming Collectors Edition review

In the courtyard August 1966. In a quiet town there is a serial killer called "The Artist". The real name is unknown. The first victim was a fifteen-year-old girl, after which a series of terrible crimes began.

The first crime arrived an officer Dana Strange. In the basement of the house of the criminal, she finds his missing sister and maniac himself, after which it arrests him immediately. Unfortunately, the girl could not be saved.

Further events start in three months. An acquaintance comes to Dane - Mal, who recently opened its detective agency. It so happened that one of his assistants disappeared, and he asks heroine to become a private detective and engage in its search as the first task. Without a remarkable case, it opens up new details of the criminal affairs and finally completes his way.

The gameplay is well acquainted and is familiar to the fans of the genre. The player has to explore the screen, looking for active items, solve riddles and observe the development of the plot.

All entourage is made in the style of America of the 60s. Despite the realistic setting, the heroine sometimes meets mystical events and mysterious mechanisms. Puzzles do not require long thought, rather need care. Many events, such as chase for suspects on the streets of the night city, are served through simple mini-games.

Visually Strange Investigations: Becoming also does not stand out against the background of other studio creations: all the same two-dimensional backdrops and a familiar color palette. Musical accompaniment is well configured to investigate. Screenshots
